Ecstasis wins Best Electronic/Dance Music Video @ the 2014 AIMVA awards

A fantastic night was had by all at the Australian Independent Music Video Awards in Canberra on Saturday, with Ecstasis taking the honours for Best Electronic/Dance Music Video for 2014! Many of the filmmakers had overcome intense challenges & adversities just to take part in the event and there was a genuine camaraderie and mutual respect amongst all participants that was very moving, both amongst those who attended and those in far flung corners of the globe who accepted via video. Some very interesting artists, well worth checking out – and more proof (if any was needed) that The Australian indie music video scene is vibrant, eclectic and representative of our global nation.

Kudos to Kelvin Fahey for his dedication, passion and commitment in supporting the efforts of indie filmmakers. This is a truly international event & and one we should all get behind as indie artists. Who will be the first broadcaster to step up to the plate and officially support this – the largest music video competition on the planet?
